How to manufacture PU coated roller?
1. Clean the iron core provided by the customer: if it is
a new PU roller iron core, the oil on the surface of the iron core should be
cleaned with a cleaning agent; if it is an old PU roller iron core, it is
necessary to remove the PU coating on the outer layer of the old PU roller。And at the same time use a cleaning agent to clean the
remaining glue on the surface of the iron core.
2. The surface of the PU roller iron core is roughened:
the surface of the PU roller iron core is roughened to increase the bonding
area between the surface of the PU roller iron core and the encapsulation.
3. Sandblasting treatment: the rough-treated PU roller
core is subjected to sandblasting treatment. Sandblasting will select different
types of sand for sandblasting according to the material of the PU roller core.
Sandblasting is to make the surface of the PU roller rougher, and the glue and
the iron core can be better bonded after encapsulation.
4. Coating: The PU roller core after the above treatment
is coated according to the customer's requirements.
5. PU-coated roller vulcanization: The PU-coated PU
roller generally needs 10-15 hours of vulcanization time. After vulcanization,
the core of the PU roller and the PU-coated roller will be tightly bonded.
6. Grinding of PU-coated wheels: Grind according to the
size and shape required by customers. When some customers have high
requirements on the surface of the PU roller, they need to use a CNC grinder to
polish the PU roller mirror surface.
