Polyurethane bridge bearing pads are increasingly used in bridge construction to replace rubber.
Polyurethane outperforms traditional rubber bearing pad. It can be
formulated to get much better tensile and tear properties than rubber .Rubber
gradually cracks and deteriorates due to exposure to ground-level ozone
produced by automobiles and electrical discharges. Polyurethane also has better
resistance to ozone and will not degrade and break down like rubber.
PEPSEN has been manufactured bearing pads used in bridges and roadways all
over the world. We are very experienced in
custom designing bridge load-bearing pads to meet design specifications.
