Drawing and working environment are usually supplied by customers. Pepsen
technicians select the appropriate polyurethane formulation for coating
processing according to the requirements of color, size, hardness and working
environment. The processing of polyurethane rubber-coated wheels needs to go
through the following steps. Technological process:
1. Cleaning
the iron core provided by customers: if it is a new core, the oil stain on the
surface of the iron core should be cleaned with detergent; if it is an old core,
the glue coating on the outer layer of the old should be removed, and the
remaining glue on the surface of the iron core should be cleaned with
detergent.
2.
Roughening the surface of the core: Roughening the surface of the core to
increase the bonding area between the surface of the core and the glue coating.
3.
Sandblasting: Sandblasting the roughly treated core. Sand with different
properties will be chose to sandblast core with different material.
Sandblasting is to make the surface more rough, and the glue and iron core bond
better after coating.
4. Gluing:
Gluing the core after the above treatment according to customer's requirements.
5.
Vulcanization of rubber coated wheel: The rubber roll after vulcanization
generally needs 12-24 hours of vulcanization time. After vulcanization, the
iron core of rubber roll will be strongly bonded with the rubber wrapping and
the rubber coated wheel will be formed.
6.
Rubber-coated wheel processing: according to the size and shape of customer
requirements to process, some customers have higher requirements on the surface
of rubber wheel, need to use lathe for processing and forming.
After the
above six processes, the polyurethane coated wheel is completed.
