Cast Polyurethane Parts for Automotive Applications

Cast polyurethane elastomers combine both the flexibility of rubber and the strength of plastic. It is used to replace traditional materials like rubber (prone to aging), metal (heavy weight), and ordinary plastic (poor wear resistance).

Shock Absorbing : Quickly cushioning vibrations from road bumps. It also reduces mechanical operation noise (e.g., suspension system noise reduced by 15-20 decibels), significantly improving ride comfort.

Excellent Wear Resistance: Stable surface friction coefficient (0.3-0.5), with wear resistance 3-5 times that of natural rubber. It resists scratches or deformation even under long-term sliding friction (e.g., between shock absorber bushings and metal rods), extending component service life to 3-5 years.

Resistance to High and Low Temperature Aging, UV: In cyclic environments from -40℃ (cold winter starts) to 120℃ (high summer engine bay temperatures), tensile strength attenuation rate is less than 8%, and hardness change is no more than 5A, ensuring consistent performance.

Customizable Molding: Supports processes like in-mold casting , with precision molding.
