As a leading China-based manufacturer and supplier, we specialize in producing high-performance automotive polyurethane suspension bushings. Utilizing advanced custom cast polyurethane processing, our poly suspension bushings provide superior durability, resilience, and performance compared to rubber ones. Each bushing is engineered to exact specifications, ensuring a perfect fit while delivering a firmer, more connected driving experience.

Our polyurethane automotive bushings are designed for a wide range of vehicles, including daily drivers, performance and track cars, off-road trucks and 4x4s, classic car restorations, and commercial fleet vehicles. By replacing old, worn-out rubber, our bushings restore suspension geometry, eliminate unwanted movement, and ensure consistent alignment, making them the ideal upgrade for anyone seeking improved vehicle stability, longevity, and driver feedback.

Advantages of Custom Polyurethane Bushings

polyurethane-automotive-bushings

- Significantly improves handling response and steering precision over soft rubber.

- Does not degrade when exposed to automotive oils, fluids, and road salt.

- Maintains proper suspension alignment angles for consistent performance and tire wear.

- Incredibly durable and resistant to wear, cracking, and deterioration over time.

- Provides a firmer, more connected feel between the driver and the road.

- Cost-effective upgrade that delivers a noticeable and lasting performance improvement.

- Reduces suspension deflection under hard cornering, braking, and acceleration forces.

- Available in different hardness levels to balance comfort and performance needs.

A Guide to Choosing the Right Durometer for Your Bushings

Selecting the correct durometer (hardness) for your polyurethane suspension bushings is crucial for balancing performance with comfort. Hardness is measured on the Shore A or D scale, and it directly impacts how much Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) is transmitted into the cabin. Here’s a simple guide to help you choose:

  • 70A - 80A Durometer (Soft): This is the softest option, offering a ride quality closest to OEM rubber but with significantly improved durability. It's ideal for daily drivers, classic cars, or luxury vehicles where comfort is the top priority, as it absorbs the most vibration and minimizes NVH.

  • 85A - 90A Durometer (Medium/Street Performance): This is the most popular choice for "fast road" or "street performance" applications. It provides a dramatic improvement in handling response, steering feel, and suspension stability with only a slight increase in NVH. It's the perfect all-around upgrade for enthusiasts who want a more connected driving experience without sacrificing daily comfort.

  • 95A+ Durometer (Hard/Race): Reserved for dedicated track, race, or serious off-road builds. This hardness level offers maximum performance by virtually eliminating suspension deflection. However, it will transfer a significant amount of noise and vibration into the chassis. Choose this only if performance is your sole priority and increased NVH is acceptable.

Ultimately, your choice depends on your goal. For most drivers, an 85A durometer bushing provides the ideal blend of performance gains and everyday usability.

  • Is polyurethane better than rubber?

Yes, in most cases. Polyurethane outperforms rubber in durability, abrasion/corrosion resistance, load capacity, and customization (hardness), with longer service life and lower maintenance—though rubber may be cheaper for basic, low-stress uses.

  • How long do polyurethane bushes last?

Polyurethane bushes typically last 5–10 years in most applications (e.g., automotive, industrial machinery). In low-stress, sheltered environments (e.g., indoor equipment), they may exceed 10 years; in harsh conditions (heavy loads, extreme temps, or high friction), they still outlast rubber by 2–3x, often lasting 3–7 years—far longer than rubber’s typical 1–3-year lifespan.

  • Are you a manufacturer?

Yes. We are manufacturer. Welcome to visit our factory.

  • Can you introduce your customized process ?

Yes. The process includes Share needs → design & quote → prototype (opt) → production → delivery.

  • How do you control your product quality?

We have 10 inspectors to carry out raw material inspection, process control ,first article inspection and final inspection.

  • How do you monitor the production process to avoid delayed delivery?

We use the ERP system to execute orders, and can check the order status and expected delivery time at any time.

  • What is warranty of products?

All of products with 3-6 months guarantee (except very frequently wearing parts).

  • How do you deal with after sales service?

We will response in 24 hours with solutions such as replacement or reworking.

  • How do you deal with customers' molds?

We have dedicated personnel to sort out and maintain molds regularly.

  • What about the lifespan of molds?

20,000 times for compressions molds and 30,000 time for casting molds

  • How long can you keep customers' molds for free?

Due to the large quantity of molds, we can keep the molds for free for 2 to 3 years even if no order.

  • If the molds are damaged or reach the lifespan , who will be responsible for it ?

Customers only need to pay mold cost once. We will cover the cost if molds are damaged or reach the lifespan.
